Velvet epilogue quilt, 2024

This quilt is constructed from the scraps of all my previous blue projects. Marking the end of a series.

BLUEBOOK, 2024

Textile book produced during fieldwork as an alternative way to record fieldnotes by replacing the pen with the needle.
Hand-stitched echo quilting on cyanotype pages reflects the time, rhythm, and experiences within the quilting communities of Manchester.

CYANOTYPE ON FABRIC (PIECE 2), 2024

Single layer coverlet made from a recycled cotton bedsheet, dyed and printed with collected flora and fauna.

Light cast through pieced fabric.

Cyanotype on fabric, (piece 3), 2024

Marble-dyed and hand-pieced textile suspended on netting. This piece is an evolution of the material expression of 'women's work', the feminine ideal and the quilter at the centre of her fabric universe.
